Dear Parents,

As we approach the conclusion of another remarkable academic year, we find ourselves reflecting on the familiar whirlwind of activities, celebrations, and performances that mark this time.

Celebrations culminated in our end of year assembly on Monday where we reflected on our shared experiences and personal growth throughout the year. Numerous trophies, certificates, and prizes were awarded to children exemplifying the qualities we embrace at Swans, such as perseverance, resilience, academic and sporting achievements, as well as creative talents. We acknowledged those who are kind, thoughtful, respectful, and considerate.

Recent Performances and Celebrations

Yesterday, our Key Stage 1 children delivered stunning performances. Their enthusiastic singing and dancing, truly set a high standard! It was a joyful morning, showcasing not only their enjoyment of school but also the significant progress they’ve made throughout the year.

This celebration of achievement continued today with Key Stage 2 who delighted us with their International Day Celebrations. The energetic singing and enthusiastic cheers exemplified our diverse Swans community. Their confidence and memory in learning the songs created a memorable experience for everyone present.

Summer Gala & Talent Show

The Summer Gala was another unforgettable event, highlighting our children's creativity. We enjoyed performances from our dance troupe, the school choir, KS2 singers, and our Primary rock band. It was a fantastic evening filled with great ambiance, delicious food, and wonderful company. Thank you to everyone who attended to celebrate with us.

Last week, the finalists of Swans Got Talent showcased their extraordinary talents through music and dance. The caliber of performances was exceptional, making it a tough decision for the judges. The final votes were incredibly close! Congratulations to all participants, and a special congratulations to Margarita from Miss Jane’s class, our Swans Got Talent Winner for 2025!

Charity Fundraising and Farewells

Recently, our entire school gathered to present the donations from our sponsored spell to our charity partner, PAD. The children from Year 1 to Year 5 raised an incredible 10,000 euros for the animal shelter. A huge round of applause and gratitude to everyone who participated in or donated to this event.

As we say farewell to our Year 6 students, we wish them the best of luck as they transition into secondary school. They have been a remarkable year group, demonstrating their potential during transition days, and we look forward to seeing them shine as they pursue their GCSEs and IB diplomas.

Our current Year 5 students will be stepping up to the secondary building in September. They have served as excellent prefects and role models for their younger peers, and we know they will represent Primary well in the next stage of their journey. While we will miss this special, kind, and enthusiastic year group, we are excited for the new adventures that await them.

The nurturing, secure, and family-like atmosphere our children experience in our primary school is the result of everyone's commitment and dedication. I want to take this opportunity to, once again, express my gratitude to our staff, parents, and to each child for making Swans an extraordinary community. I will miss you all but am excited about the new beginning and the opportunities ahead.

Verano 2025: Director Académico resumen de fin de curso

Estimados Padres:

A medida que nos acercamos al final de otro gran año académico, nos encontramos reflexionando sobre el torbellino familiar de actividades, celebraciones y actuaciones que marcan este momento.

Las celebraciones culminaron en nuestra asamblea de fin de curso el lunes, donde reflexionamos sobre nuestras experiencias compartidas y el crecimiento personal a lo largo del año. Se entregaron numerosos trofeos, certificados y premios a los niños que ejemplifican las cualidades que impulsamos en Swans, como la perseverancia, la resistencia, los logros académicos y deportivos, así como los talentos creativos. Reconocimos a aquellos que son amables, atentos, respetuosos y considerados.

Actuaciones y celebraciones recientes 

Ayer, nuestros niños de Key Stage One realizaron actuaciones impresionantes. Sus entusiastas cantos y bailes dejaron el listón muy alto. Fue una mañana alegre, mostrando no sólo lo que disfrutan del colegio, sino también el importante progreso que han hecho durante todo el año.

Esta celebración continuó hoy con Key Stage 2 que nos deleitó con sus actuaciones del Día Internacional. Los cantos enérgicos y los vítores entusiastas ejemplificaron nuestra diversa comunidad Swans. Su confianza y buena memoria para aprenderse las canciones crearon una experiencia memorable para todos los presentes.

Gala de Verano y Espectáculo de Talentos

La Gala de Verano fue otro acontecimiento inolvidable que puso de relieve la creatividad de nuestros niños. Disfrutamos de las actuaciones de nuestro cuerpo de baile, el coro del colegio, los cantantes de KS2 y nuestra banda de rock de Primaria. Fue una noche fantástica llena de buen ambiente, deliciosa comida y maravillosa compañía. Gracias a todos los que vinisteis a celebrarlo con nosotros.

La semana pasada, los finalistas de Swans Got Talent mostraron sus extraordinarios talentos a través de la música y el baile. El calibre de las actuaciones fue excepcional, por lo que fue una decisión difícil para los jueces. Las votaciones finales estuvieron increíblemente reñidas. Enhorabuena a todos los participantes, y una felicitación especial a Margarita de la clase de Miss Jane, ¡nuestra ganadora de Swans Got Talent de 2025!

Solidaridad y despedidas

Recientemente, todo nuestro colegio se reunió para presentar las donaciones de nuestro dictado patrocinado a la organización benéfica, PAD. Los niños de Year 1 a Year 5 recaudaron la increíble cifra de 10.000 euros para el refugio de animales. Un gran aplauso y gratitud a todos los que participaron o donaron para este evento.

Al despedirnos de nuestros alumnos de Year 6, les deseamos la mejor de las suertes en su transición a Secundaria. Han sido un grupo de año notable, demostrando su potencial durante los días de transición, y esperamos verlos brillar a medida que consiguen sus GCSEs y diplomas de IB.

Nuestros alumnos de Year 5 pasarán al edificio de Secundaria en septiembre. Han sido excelentes prefectos y modelos para sus compañeros más jóvenes, y sabemos que representarán bien a Primaria en la siguiente etapa de su viaje. Aunque echaremos de menos a este grupo tan especial, amable y entusiasta, estamos muy ilusionados con las nuevas aventuras que les esperan.

El ambiente enriquecedor, seguro y familiar que nuestros niños experimentan en nuestro colegio de Primaria es el resultado del compromiso y la dedicación de todos. Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para, una vez más, expresar mi gratitud a nuestro personal, a los padres y a cada niño por hacer de Swans una comunidad extraordinaria. Os echaré de menos a todos, pero estoy entusiasmada con el nuevo comienzo y las oportunidades que nos esperan.
