Primary School (5-11 years)

Vibrant classrooms create a dynamic learning environment
Swans is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to aim high, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that, for this to be best achieved, we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school. We pride ourselves on open communication, so if you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher, the office or myself. You may also contact us to request a tour of the school.

Miss Anne White, our Primary Headteacher, has been a valuable member of the Swans teaching team since 2007. A graduate of the University of the West of England, she brings extensive experience as a class teacher in both the UK and Spain, covering all age ranges in Primary and Secondary education, as well as teaching at Bristol University’s Continuing Education programme. During her tenure at Swans, she has served as Head of Learning Support and Deputy Head before assuming her current role as Headteacher.
Committed to fostering an inclusive environment, Miss Anne enhances our dedication to academic excellence and personal development. Her leadership shapes a nurturing atmosphere where all students can flourish. As a parent of four Swans graduates, all of whom have attended university, she understands the diverse needs of students and the advantages of a bilingual education. Fluent in French and Spanish, Miss Anne enriches our community’s cultural fabric. Under her guidance, Swans continues to promote academic excellence and personal growth in an inclusive and nurturing environment, setting up our youngest Swans for the best possible educational journey built on strong foundations.
